Investors with Kriebel Wells enjoy substantial tax savings, as a significant portion of their initial investment is expected to be tax deductible. Once the gas from a producing well reaches market, investors should expect to begin receiving monthly cash distribution checks and continue to receive checks throughout the life of the partnership. Cash distributions typically begin within nine months from closing and continue for as many as 30 years. These distributions are usually taxed at a significantly lower tax rate than the federal maximum tax rate.
