James E. Kriebel
President and Chief Executive Officer
Jim and his father, Edward G. Kriebel, started in the natural gas business in 1972 when they acquired a company that drilled, operated and owned natural gas wells. Today, Jim and his brothers, Gary and Greg, and his son Shane, invest and manage the Kriebel Wells partnerships, made up of 1,700+ natural gas wells in 10 Western Pennsylvania counties.
An active participant in affairs of the natural gas industry, he is a member of the board of directors and the executive committee of the Pennsylvania Independent Oil & Gas Association. He is also a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and the Independent Petroleum Association of America.
Over the years Jim has also served as a member of the Board of Directors of various banks, including First Seneca Bank & Trust Company, Integra Bank, and National City Bank of Pennsylvania.
In his local community, Jim is a member of the board of directors and executive committee of the Clarion University of Pennsylvania Foundation and he is a member of the Clarion County Industrial Development Authority.
Jim graduated from the University of Miami with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
