Edward G. Kriebel
Co-Founder of Kriebel

Ed Kriebel was co-founder of Kriebel with his son, Jim.
In the early 1950’s, Ed and an associate combined their savings to purchase a coal processing plant. The company grew quickly, and by 1969, it was the largest surface mining company in Pennsylvania.
In 1969, Ed sold the company and turned his ambitions to the development of natural gas. In 1972, Ed bought a company that drilled, owned and operated natural gas wells located in the Western Pennsylvania region. In 1979, Ed and his son, Jim, joined with other business professionals to form a partnership to drill their own natural gas wells.
